Truth Needs No Autor(ity)

“Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of truth and knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the gods.”
(Albert Einstein)

“Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not a truth.”
(Marcus Aurelius)

Truth is beyond perspectives. Truth is beyond what we see, read, or hear. There is no authority that can represent the truth. Even the great Sir Isaac Newton, the “pope” of physics, erred with respect to the nature of space and time.

Humble science is a continuous change of perspectives on the quest of truth. Humble science loves and thus seeks alternative perspectives, for they are seen as catalysts for getting closer to truth.

Arrogant science sells a perspective as truth. Arrogant science fears and thus bashes alternative perspectives, for they are seen as threats to the own perspective.

“Truth is not afraid of questions.”
(Yogananda)

Great minds are humble.

Extend your thinking.

Who is humble? Who is tolerant?
